REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING BOARD OF HEALTH
HELD IN OFFICE OF BOARD
FEBRUARY 18, 1937
Present: Chairman Addison Hewlett, Mayor Walter H. Blair,
Dr. J. C. Wessell, Dr. W. Houston Moore, and Dr. H. L. Keith.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
After a general discussion of the appointment of a plumbing
inspector, it was moved by Mayor Blair, seconded by Dr. Keith,
that the Board not elect any plumbing inspector at this meeting;
that Mr. Kermon continue as inspector until it could be ascertained
what other cities are doing;and that a comnittee be appointed to look
into all phases of the matter, confer with applicants, and make
recommendations at next meeting. Carried.
Chairman Hewlett appointed Drs. Moore, Wessell, and Elliot
to serve as such committee.
The Health Officer submitted the monthly reports.
There being no further business, the Board adjourned.
