Present: Chairman Addison Hewlett, Mayor Thos. E. Cooper, Mr. H. M.
Roland, Dr. J. C. Wessell, Dr. W. Houston Moore, and Dr. B. R. Morrison.
Minutes of last meeting were read and approved.
The monthly reports were presented by the Health Officer.
It was moved by Mayor Cooper, seconded by Dr. Morrison, that the
meeting hour of the Board of Health be changed from 5.00 P. M. to 3.00 P. M.
Carried.
After a brief discussion, it was moved by Meyor Cooper, seconded by
Mr. Roland, that the Plumbing Inspector, the Health Officer, and a committee
from the Plumbing Association make recommendations to the Board es to needed
changee in the plumbing regulations. Carried.
After the presentation of the problem of sewege disposal in Oleander
by Dr. Moore, it was moved by Mayor Cooper, seconded by Mr. ROland, that
Dr. Moore and the Health Officer be eppointed a committee to investigate
sewege disposel at Oleander 4Ddrepdrt.to the Board with recommendations.
Carried.
After Dr. Moore discussed our typhus fever situation, the Health Officer
was instructed to take up with the proper Federal or State authorities the
problem of rat poisoning and get their recommendations.
There being no further business, the Board adjourned.
