REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING, BOARD OF
HEALTH HELD IN OFFICE OF BOARD
APRIL 10, 1941
Present: Chairman Addison Hewlett, Dr. J. C.
Wessell, Mayor Thomas E. Cooper, Mr. H. M. Roland, and
Dr. B. R. Morrison.
Minutes of the last meeting read and
approved.
Monthly reports presented.
After a general discussion of the problem of
importing milk, it was moved by Dr. Wessell and seconded
by Mayor Cooper that the health officer, the food and dairy
inspector, and the assistant food and dairy inspector be
authorized to make a temporary modification of the milk
regulations so as to meet the emergency of the increased
demand without violating any essential health features--
it being understood that any modifications of the regulations
as amended must not permit anything that might give
rise to any public health hazard. Carried.
There being no further business, the Board
adjourned.
