REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING BOARD OF HEALTH
HELD IN OFFICE OF BOARD
JUNE 18, 1942

Present: Mr. Hewlett, Dr. Moore, Dr. Morrison and Mr. Roland.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The Health Officer presented the monthly reports.
TPe Health Officer asked for and received permission to use the
balance of any budget item, where thl'rewas a balancl', to take
care of any overdraft in items overdrawn.
The Health Officer presented a petition from residents of Ke!lWood
Avenue asking that the Board take some action towards prohibiting
stabling horses in that vicinity. No action was taken as this is
beyond the City limits.
The Health Officer explained to the Board members that it was im-
possibll' to prepare the 1942-43 budgl't until the Merit System
salary scale had been received because of the fact that beginning
July 1 all members of the department were supposed to be paid on
a scale of salary set by the Merit System Supervisor, In the mean-
time, the Health Officer asketl to ,be' authorized to follow last year's
budget until the new budget can be prepared and officially adopted.
This permission was granted.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
