REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING OOARD OF HEALTH
HELD IN OFFICE OF OOARD
APRIL 8. 1943
Present: Mr. Hewlett. Dr. Wessell. Dr. Morrison. Dr. Moore
and Uayor Yow.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The Health Officer presented the monthly reports.
The Board discussed the question of sewage disposal from the new
health building and advised the Health Officer to get the City
Engineer to determine with an instrument the levels of the out-
let and the City sewer so that if physically possible the sewage
could be emptied into the Fourth Street sewer.
The Health Officer announced to the Board members that the Hugh
MacRae sewage system had been connected and was being emptied into
the City system,/
Dr. Wessell informally discussed the problem of trash containers
at Wrightsville Beach. No action was taken.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
