THE REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING OF THE
BOARD OF HEALTH
HElD IN OFFICE OF BOARD

Present: Mr. Hewlett, Mr. Roland and Dr. Morrison, and Mayor
Cameron. .
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The Health Officer presented the monthly reports.
After a brief discussion of the abattoir problem it was moved by
)layor Cameron, seconded by Mr. Roland, that the Health Officer
help interested butchers in every w~ possible to secure priorities
on necessary materials. Carried.
Mr. Hewlett, in his capacity as Chairman of the County Conunissioners,
presented a letter from the Junior Chamber of Commerce requesting
that that bod,y arrange to have a representative of the Health Department
inspect and grade all County institutions serving food~, After(,a brief
discussion it Wall moved by )(~or Cameron, seconded by ~ that
each month a member of the staff of the Board of Health and that a report
be made as to whether the sanitation Wall good or bad. Carried.
There being no further buSiness, t he meeting adjourned.
