REGULrtR MONTHLY MEETING BOARD OF HEALTH
HELD IN OFFI CE OF B01C.TID
NOVEMBER 9, 1944
Present: Mr. Addison Hewlett, Chairman, Mayor VI. Ronald Lane, Mr.
H. M. Roland, Dr. VI. Houston Moore, Dr. J. C. Wessell and Dr. James
H. Smith.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The Health Officer presented the monthly reports.
Mr. Roland reported that the Board of Education had not had a meeting
since our communication about the chest X-raying of teachers.
Mr. Edwards discussed with the Board members the Standard Ordinance
acceptance of ~ilk to pasteurization plants from herds vaccinated
with Bangs disease vaccine. After a general discussion, it was moved
by Dr. WeGsell, seconded by Dr. Moore, that the Health Officer write
the U. S. Public Health Service for an official ruling on milk from
herds vaccinated with Bangs vaccine. Carried.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
