REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING BOARD OF HEALTH
HELD IN OFFICE OF BOARD
MAY 9, 1946
Present: Mr. Addison Hewlett, Chairman, Dr. J. C. Wessell, Dr. W.
Houston Moore and Dr. James H. Smith.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The Health Officer presented the monthly reports.
The Health Officer was requested to mail to the members of the Board
copies of the animal survey i.m1 the newly incorporated portion of
the City.
The Health Officer .presented tentative copies of the 1946-1947 budget
for the Board's consideration between that time and the June meeting
at which time a tentative budget is supposed to be adopted.
After a general discussion of the sale of non-graded milk, it was
moved hy Dr. Wessell, seconded by Dr. Moore, that all family cow
producers,selling as much as ten gallons of mill: daily, be checked
by the dairy inspector at weekly intervals and that members of the
Board of Health be notified in case of any departure from a normal
or acceptable milk. Carried.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
