REGULill IJONTHLY MEETING BOARD OF HEALTH
HELD IN OFFICE OF BOARD
JUNE 13, 1946
Present: Mr. Addison Hewlett, Chairman, Mr. H. M. Roland, Mayor
\1. Ronald Lane, Dr. VI. Houston Moore, Dr. J. C. Wessell and Dr.
James H. Smith.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The Health Officer presented the monthly reports.
The Health Officer presented the proposed budget for the coming
fiscal year. After a brief discussion it Vias moved by Dr. Wessell,
seconded by Dr. Moore, that instead of asking for a given amount
of raises per month, the Board requested that the appropriating
authorities approve last year's budget plus whatever percentage in-
crease is given to other City and County employees. Carried.
Dr. Wessell suggested that the local Board go on record as coopera-
ting with the State Board of Health in connection with the Polio situa-
tion in the State of Florida.
In connection with the possible adoption of regulations regarding
domestic animals in the territory recently taken into the City, Dr.
Wessell suggested that the Health Officer consult the City and County
Attorneys to see if some special regulations might be adopted covering
that zone or territory recently incorporated.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
