REGULAR MONTHLY IIEETING BOARD OF HEALTH
HELD IN OFFICE OF BOARD
MARCH 1.3, 1947
Present: Mr. Addison Hewlett, Chairman, Dr. J. C. Wessell, Dr. W.
Houston Moore and Mr. H. M. Roland.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The Health Officer presented the monthly reports.
Following the proposal at the February meeting regarding the prohibition
of major repairs to outdoor water flush toilets (put them indoors or on
the porch instead of repairing them), the Health Officer was directed to
draw up and word as accurately as possible such an ordinance and present
it to the Board members for their consideration at their next meeting.
Mr. Theodore Schrader, Plumbing Inspector, reluested that the Board
appoint a member to the Board of Plumbing Examiners inasmuch as Mr. L. O.
Goodyear had become a master plumber and had gone into the plumbing con-
tracting business. At the same time Mr. Schrader recommended Mr. Jimmie
Yopp for the Board's consideration. It was moved by Dr. Wessell, seconded
by Mr. Roland, that Mr. Yopp be made the iJoumeyman or alternate member
of the Board of Plumbing Examiners. Carried.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
