REGULAR MONTHrx MEETING BOARD OF HEALTH
HELD IN OFFICE OF BOARD
MAY 8, 1947

Present: Mr. Addison Hewlett, Chairman, Dr. J. C. Wessell, Dr. James
H. Smith, Mayor W. Ronalg Lane and Mr. H. M. Roland.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The Health Officer persented the monthly reports.
After a general discussion of the advisability of requiring ample
water flush toilet facilities for circuses, carnivals, etc. within
the City limits, it was moved by Mr. Roland that the matter be taken
under consideration and that the Health Officer confer with Mr. Davis
on the subject.
It was moved by Dr. Wessell, seconded by Mayor Lane, that 'persons owning
hogs within the newly incorporated portion of the City be notified to
remove them from the City within thirty days of the notice, and that
persons owning cows be given a similar notice for the removal of cowe
within six months from date of notice. Carried.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
