Present: Mr. Addison Hewlett, Chairman, Dr. W. Houston Moore, Dr.
J. C. Wessell, Dr. James H. Smith and Mr. H. M. Roland.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The Health Officer presented the monthly reports.
The physical examination of school teachers was discussed, but no
official action was taken.
The problem of providing water for waterflush toilets in the case
of indigent persons was discussed, but no official action taken.
The Health Officer advised the Board members that the Associated
Charities had been notified by letter from the City Manager that
when the City discontinued its contribution to the Associated Charities
that it also discontinued any provision for free water for the indigent.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
