REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING BOARD OF HEALTH
HELD IN OFFICE OF I30ARD
DECEMBER 7, 1949
Present: Mr. Addison Hewlett, Chairman; Dr. J. C. Wessell, Dr. James
H. Smith and Dr. J. C. Knox.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The Health Officer presented the monthly reports.
The Health Officer requested that Mr. W. C. Haas' salary be raised
$20.00 per month effective January I, 1950, out of funds set up for the
two positions of Cafe Inspectors inasmuch as we are employing an Assistant
Sanitarian (Trainee) whose Merit S;ystem salary will leave enough funds in
that position to take care of the increase for Mr. Haas this budget ;year
and all of the next budget ;year (provided there are no Merit System changes
at the beginning of next budget ;year).

It was lIIoved b;y Dr. Wessell, seconded b;y Dr. Smith, that Mr. Haas' salary
be raised $20.00 per IDOnth effective January I, 1950. Carried.

The plumbing work in public school buildings and the wash water, etc. froll
the White' 8 Ice Cre&lll 8< Milk Company plant and 0' Crowley's Laundry and Dry
Cleaning plant were discussed, but no official action taken.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
