REGULAR MONlliLY MEETING BOARD OF HEALTH
HELD IN OFFICE OF BOARD
JUNE 7, 1950
Present: Mr. Addison Hewlett, Chairman, Dr. J. C. Wessell, Dr. James
H. Smith and Dr. J. C. Knox.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The Health Officer presented the monthly reports.
The Health Officer gave the contents of a letter from the King Construction
Company regarding a building problem in connection with meeting the plumb-
ing code in the Rankin building in Oleander.

After a general discussion it was moved by Dr. Wessell, seconded by Dr.
Knox, that the building contractor, the plumber doing the work and our
plumbing inspector work out a satisfactory solution to the problem and
keep such solution within the plumbing code. Carried.

After a brief discussion of the proposed budget for 1950-1951, it was
moved by Dr. Wessell, seconded by Dr. Knox, that the budget be approved
and presented to the City and County appropriating authorities for their
consideration. Carried.
After considerable discussion of a proposed ordinance on the installation
of disposals for garbage grinders in non-sewered areas, the proposed or-
dinance was tabled for further study.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
