REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING BOARD OF HEALTH
HELD IN OFFICE OF BOARD
AUGUST 2, 1950
Present: Mr. Addison Hewlett, Chaiman, Mr. Royce S. McG:j.elland, Mayor,
Dr. J. C. Wessell, Dr. J. C. Knox, Mr. H. M. Roland and Dr. James H. Smith.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The monthly reports were mailed later to each member of the Board.
In reply to our fomal notice of July 10, 1950, concerning Mr. Goodyear's
plumbing job at 13th & Wright Streets, Mr. Goodyear,along with his attorney,
Mr. A. A. Lennon appeared before the Board to explain their angle of the
case. Mr. Lennon went into very minute details of all of the procedures
prior to and during these installations and the custom in the past on such
installations.

After Mr. Lennon and Mr. Goodyear retired from the meeting there was a general
discussion of the case and it was moved by Mr. Roland, seconded by Mayor
McClelland, that this case be continued until we elected a lawyer to advise
the Board and let that lawyer decide what to do in this particular case. Carried.

It was moved by Mayor McClelland, seconded by Dr. Smith, that our plumbing
regulations be re-codified. Carried.
Under the election of an attorney on an advisory basis, it was moved by Dr.
Smith, seconded by Mr. Roland, that the Board employ Mr. John C. Wessell,
Jr. Carried.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
