REGULAR HONTHLY HEETING BOARD OF HEALTH
HELD IN OFFICE OF BOARD

The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The monthly reports were mailed to the Board members following the
meeting of the Board.
After an explanation of Miss Georgia Ezzell's time worked in the depart-
ment'before she actually went on the department's payroll, it was moved
by Mr. Roland, seconded by Dr. Smith, that our representatives in the
State Legislature be requested to have the necessary amendment to the
City-County Pension System made to give Miss E7.zell credit for the time
worked in the department before going on the department's payroll.
Carried.

After the Health Officer explained to the Board members the problem of
getting Mr. H. M. Thornburg of Carolina Beach to comply with our plumb-
ing regulations, it was moved by Dr. Knox, seconded by Mr. Roland, that
Mr. Thornburg be notified by registered mail (return receipt requested)
that if he does not comply with pur plunilling regulations by December 15,
1950, his license will be revoked. Carried.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
