the classifications they are printed and are available in the Cape Fear River Basin
Pollution Survey Report 1957. Salt water classifications have also been eet up

has been classified as D.

An extensive discussion was held regarding the condition of the Cape Fear River
with regard to the dis-solved oxygen as it is effected by the j,Jaste from the
Regal Plant and the Wilmington sewage.
No final conclUSions were reached in what needed to be done to meet the classi-

for the City of Wilmington to declare their intent to establish a sewage treatment
plant and start making preparations and plans to carry out this project sometime
in the future.
