At the time for the regular monthly meeting of the Board of Health on
November 4, 1959, a quorum was not present. Those present were Mr. James
E. Holton, Jr., Chairman, Dr. J. C. Knox and Dr. James H. Smith.
y-lt was decided, since Mr. Galog a plumber, had requested the right to appear
be,fore the Board regarding certain plumbing jobs which the Plumbing In-
spector found not to conform with the Plumbing Code, to discuss informally
with Hr. Galog the policies of this department with regard to plumbing.
Present in addition to Mr. Galog were Hr. Charlie Davis, Hr. Ralph Holland,
Hr. David Fulcher and Hr. Biddle.
After much discussion, pro and con, Chairman Holton stated that all plumbers
"i must conform to the Plumbing Code and that this Board was completely behind
Nr. Biddle, Plumbing Insl'ector.
It was pointed out during the discussion that on numerous occasions Mr. Galog
had failed to comply in all details with the Plumbing Code. The Board asked
Hr. lassiter and Mr. Biddle to meet with Hr. Galog on the job and point out
to him the corrections necessary to be made.
