REGULAR MJN'lHLY MEETING BOARD OF HEAL'lH
HELD IN OFFICE OF BOARD
September 4, 1963
Present: Mr. James M. Hall, Jr., Chairman, Dr. J. C. Knox, Dr. James H.
Smith and :Mayor O. O. Allsbrook.
Minutes of the August meeting were approved. Dr. James Smith made the
motion and :Mayor Allsbrook seconded it. Motion carried.
Motion was made, seconded and carried that Mrs. Betty B. West be granted
an educational leave of one year and that Mrs. Willora Faulkner be given
this position during her absence. Mrs. Faulkner is now a PIlN III and will
return to this status and pay when Mrs. West returns.
Mr. Cranford reported that Mr. Powell was employed on September 1, 1963 as
Sanitarian I.
There was a general agreement that Dr. Knox appear berore the County
Commissioners at their next regular meeting to discuss the Health
Department Budget regarding travel and salaries.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
