03/01/1967 44'; MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF HEALTH, Maroh 1, 1961 r < Present! Dr. J. W. Hooper, Chairman, Dr. J. C. Knox, Dr. William Wagoner, Dr. James Tidler and Attorney Bradford L. Tillery. --- Minutes of the February meeting were approved by motion of Dr. Wagoner, seoonded by Dr. Tidler. \ Plumbing Code Amendments! The Committee (Mr. Lacy Goodyear, Chairman, Mr. Harris Newber, Mr. Granville Smith and Mr. Robert Benson) appointed by Dr. Hooper after the February meeting, presented their reoommended amendments to the State Plumb- ing Code. After studying the amendments, ohanges were made in seotion 102.4 to inolude a Board of Appeals whioh would be made up of two Master Plumbers and one engineer who would hear the appeal and try to settle it before it was brought to the Board of Health. The appeal would have to be made to this Board within 15 ~s and to the Board of Health within 30 ~s. Motion was made by Dr. Wagoner that this Board be set up and that Dr. Hooper be authorized to appoint the members of this Board. Dr. Tidler seoonded the motion. Motion oarried. Seotion 103.1, 103.3, 103.4, 103.5, 103.6, 103.1, 103.8, 103.9, 103.10 and the last four linss of 103.2 were omitted from the suggested amendments. Dr. Knox made the motion, seoonded by Dr. Wagoner, that the amendments be approved with the above modifioations and that they be submitted to the Building Code Counoil for their approval. Motion oarried unanimously. --- Amendment to Resolution re Adoption of State Plumbing Code! Dr. Wagoner made the motion, seoonded by Dr. Tidler, that in the Resolution adopted by the Board at the February meeting, that Seotion l-d be ohanged to s~ that the fee will be delivered to the City-County Tax Offioe. Motion oarried. Milk Ordinanoe! Copies of the proposed milk ordinanoe will be given to the Board for study before the next meeting in April.
