Penned Horses: Three people from Seaview Woods Trailer Park appeared before the board to complain of three horses penned in a back yard, several German Shepards in the front yard, and chickens roaming around in the yards of a neighbor. They complained of the odor and flies and wanted the Board of Health to declare the situation a health hazard. Mr. Frank Olive, Director of Sanitation, reported that he and two other sanitarians had visited the place in question and had found nothing that would justify delcaring this a health hazard. Dr. Reynolds made a motion that Mr. Olive have the wells in this area inspected and tested for organisms with two samples being taken one week apart. He also asked that the samples be compared to the community system being used in the area. Motion was seconded and carried. Mr. Olive will report findings to the board. Part Time Private Practice for Employee: Dr. Laris Milligan, Dentist, has asked permission to do private practice after hours and on Saturdays. Since Dr. Milligan is not on our payroll it was the opinion of the board that he should have a letter from Dr. E. A. Pearson of the Dental Health Division stating that this is in order. The letter will be on file in the department. '--.,. Lead Screening Program: It was called to the attention of the board that in order for the HEW Team to come into the community to do this study they would have to have approval from the Medical Society.
