Chairman Mason asked if everyone had a chance to review the summary from December 3, 2020 meeting and asked if there were any questions, comments or corrections. No one had any. Chairman Mason made a motion to approve; Alan Griffin seconded. Motion passed. OLD BUSINESS: Radios Radios discussion tabled until Zak Whicker can discuss. Zak has been assisting with the vaccine roll out countywide. By-Laws The by-law changes have not been completed at this time. Quarterly Meeting Schedule Chairman Mason asked if the members would vote on moving from every other month to a quarterly schedule for meetings. All members voted aye. The meetings will now take place January, April, July and November. NEW BUSINESS Chairman Mason asked if there were any other items to add for new business; no one had any. OTHER ITEMS AND REPORTS 9-1-1 Center Chairman Mason asked Debora Cottle to update on the 911 Center. Debora stated there are two new hires in class training, the last group of seven hit the floor. There will be interviews on Monday for the next class. Debora said that most issues with ESInet have been resolved. There was an issue of some calls not being recorded. After the investigation; there were some cables unplugged at the console and they were reconnected. There were cables cut in the data room which have been rectified. The result of these two issues were recordings that had bleed overs and they were not perfect but we are good now. Some of the unrecoverable recordings will be from January 9, 2021 through February 23, 2021. CAD is the only items we can provide from these dates. Chairman Mason asked if anyone had any other items or questions. IT Chairman Mason asked Cindy Hewett to update everyone on IT. IT is preparing for the 421 Fire Station move. IT has been working on replacing network equipment. There have been brief outages to networks and IT is working with the vendors on these issues. The mifi replacement for law enforcement is underway. There is a Central Square upgrade. The Change Management team has been working on this. Cindy asked for Gia Long to inform the Board on this; Gia stated that they are moving from version 20.1 to 20.4 and hopefully this will resolve some of the issues people have had. Gia also said there is a meeting on Monday with the vendor for auto dispatch. This meeting will also discuss the timeline for a go live date. IT anticipates June or July for a go live date. Chairman Mason asked if there were any other items; there were none. Chairman Mason did ask if there were any issues the Board could assist with; I told him that the radio person might be an issue?
