1. Discuss Preliminary Scoring & Make Funding Decisions Committee
Gwen was able to get this Saturday meeting scheduled with Facilities Management and
get the public notice out on Thursday afternoon. The committee continued going
through the applications for funding beginning at #33 Good Shepherd Ministries since
a representative from this agency was in attendance. After #33 the committee continued
with #27 First Fruit Ministries. The committee finished going through all 64 agencies
with Gwen and Scott making notes of ineligible funding, etc. There were a few agencies
where their requests were considered general operating expenses and not related directly
to the program therefore, were not recommended for funding. There were one or two
where the committee could not determine how the funds were going to be used or not
related to the program, even after additional questions were asked, that were not
recommended for funding. After looking at the eligible funding it was determined that
there would be three tiers. Tier one would be recommended at 90% of eligible funding,
tier two would be recommended at 75% of eligible funding and tier 3 would not be
recommended for funding.
2. Other Discussions All
It was decided that Randy and Clare would attend the May 15 Commissioner Meeting
and Randy would make the presentation. Gwen will email the PowerPoint
Presentation to the committee to get everyone's input.
