The following items have been addressed per the September 13, 2023 emailed comments:
Fire Marshal’s Office, Sunnie Batson
1. The hydrant has been relocated near Lot A12.
2. Added “Fire Sign” detail on Sheet 26 of the plan (sign you provided). “Fire Sign”
shown at all dead ends on Sheets 10-12.
US Army Corps of Engineers, Brad Shaver
1. Per Southern Environmental Group, Inc., SEGi will be submitting a Pre-
Construction Notification to the USACE and NC DWR, for a Nationwide Permit
18 and associated WQC respectively, for impacts associated with the
development. Mott’s Creek, at this location and per the NC DMF, is an inland
waterbody, which carries a 30’ Area of Environmental Concern (AEC). None of
the proposed development is to take place within the NC DCM’s 30’ AEC. See
image on next page which was provided by SEGi.
Addressing, Katherine May
1. I spoke with Kathrine and this has been handled by the developer.
The following plan revisions have been made since our August 29, 2023 submittal:
1. Adjust Notes #2, 17, & 25, add to Note #8, and add Notes #37 & 38.
2. Add tree protection fencing linetype and lines.
3. Adjust Coastal Wetland & LIMWA linetypes.
4. Add Mean High Water (MHW), and Normal High Water (NHW), & 30’ Inland
Waterbody AEC lineytpes and lines.
5. Add Coastal Wetland/Brackish Marsh line in Phase 3B area and increase Coastal
Wetlands area & Brackish Marsh area.
6. Add to Tidal Marsh soil label.
7. Adjust location of existing water main.
8. Adjust location of fire hydrant.
9. Adjust water mains.
10. Add open cuts, bore/receiving/tapping pits, & steel casing pipe.
11. Adjust storm drain inverts.
12. Adjust proposed contours at driveway.
13. Add ground stabilization chart.
14. Add DBSC-1 label & Downspout Piping Note #8.
15. Adjust 50’ Vegetated Buffer line.
16. Add retaining wall detail.
17. Add NCDOT Std. 654.01.
